Stephanie Campbell has been with Georgia Spa Company for nearly five years, and those who have called our Pre-owned and Service Center in Auburn can attest to experiencing her excellent customer service. Stephanie joined the Georgia Spa team in 2016 and worked two years as a delivery coordinator before moving into her current role as a supervisor assistant in 2018. Known for having a great attitude and greeting everyone with a smile, Stephanie was named our Employee of the Year in 2017.
What was your first job?
My first job was at McDonald’s when I was 16 – back when the ice cream machine worked! I worked there with all of my friends while attending high school. I could do the cooking, handle the cash register and work the drive-through. I had the coolest manager who loved the Dallas Cowboys, and we even surprised him with some Dallas Cowboys merchandise. It was a great time, and I loved it.
If you could visit any movie or tv set, which one would it be?
I would like to visit the set of General Hospital because I enjoyed that show over the years.
What are your top three favorite movies?
Goonies, it’s a classic! Annie, I loved that movie growing up. As well as the original Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, it is such a great movie.
What is your favorite place you’ve ever visited?
Niagara Falls because I have so many childhood memories there. I also love Jamaica! It’s where my husband and I honeymooned. It’s a beautiful place.
What is one goal that you plan to accomplish during your adult lifetime?
My husband and I would like to buy an RV and travel all over the United States.
Before working at Georgia Spa Company, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had.
When I was in high school I worked at a chiropractor’s office in Stone Mountain, Ga., where I learned how to develop x-rays.
Are you a dog person or a cat person (or neither)?
I love dogs, and I have had several over the years. I had Dos, Marlie, Mikey and currently have Charlie, Moses, and Leo (the baby). I also recently rescued a kitten who is on her way to a great home.
Describe your dream vacation.
My dream vacation is to travel to Iceland to see the Northern Lights. They are stunning, and I would love to see them in person.
How do you recharge?
I enjoy relaxing on my couch surrounded by my puppies with a nice glass of wine.
What is your favorite sport to watch and which team do you root for?
I love every sport my son plays and always root for his team. I rooted for the Wildcats when he played baseball, basketball, and football. Now I root for the Knights, where he will play baseball, basketball, and football in the upcoming seasons.
What are three things still left on your bucket list?
I would love to go back to Niagara Falls, where I made many childhood memories. I would also like to see both of my kids graduate college, get married and have grand babies! I would like to visit the Grand Canyon because it looks so amazing.
What do you like most about Georgia Spa Company?
All of the friendships I’ve made along the way.
What is your favorite hot tub and why?
My favorite hot tub is the Envoy because of the massage features like the Moto-Massage.
