Controller

This position oversees all day-to-day financial operations. In this position you should be able to manage all accounting functions, planning and implementing the company's budgets and oversee financial reporting and planning.

Major Duties:

  • Assist management with all financial planning and decisions

  • Developing financial strategy, including risk minimisation plans and opportunity forecasting

  • Ensure the company implements cost savings measures

  • High-level financial reporting and analysis

  • Cash flow management and reporting

  • Preparing, tracking and implementing budgets

  • Improving efficiencies and reducing costs across the business

  • Stakeholder management and reporting

  • Debt management and collection supervision

  • Ensuring compliance with statutory law and financial regulations and tax filings

  • Developing financial reviews and providing investment advice

  • Working closely with management or executive teams to share reports and analysis findings

  • Bank account and credit card reconciliations

  • Ensure all Invoices are paid in a timely manner and all discounts are taken on accounts payable

  • Maintain an orderly accounting filing system and chart of accounts

  • Supervise all accounting functions and all accounting employees

  • Directing and coordinating all accounting operational functions and accounting firm relationships

  • Overseeing payroll & payroll reporting and vendor relationship management


Knowledge & Skills Required:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred

  • 5+ years of experience

  • Quickbooks proficient

  • Exceptional organizational skills

  • The ability to meet deadlines

  • The ability to communicate complex data in a clear way

  • The ability to prioritize projects

  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports

  • Ability to handle confidential information and records


Physical Demands & Work Environment:

  • The work is typically performed while sitting at a desk or table or while intermittently sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, or stooping.

  • The employee occasionally lifts light and heavy objects.

  • The work is typically performed in an office.


Guidelines:
Guidelines include EEOC regulations, affirmative action laws, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and other state and federal employment laws, and county personnel policies and Procedures. These guidelines require judgment, selection, and interpretation in application.


Location: This position works out of the Outlet and Service Center located at 1515 University Drive, Auburn, GA 30011.

Salary Range: $95k - $145K
