Ashley Steed, joined Georgia Spa Company in March of 2021 as the company's Human Resources Manager. She additionally serves as the office manager of Georgia Spa's Pre-Owned and Service Center. A valuable part of the GSC team, Ashley is an excellent multi-tasker who assists in many of the day-to-day operations and provides a positive impact on customer experience. She can always be found laughing and having a good time with her co-workers.
What is your favorite memory with Georgia Spa
Company?
Floating down the river...literally! On our
last employee appreciation trip, we went rafting and after being ejected from
the raft, I took a nice little float down the river before being pulled back
into the boat. It definitely made for a good laugh and a good story.
Why did you want to work for Georgia Spa
Company?
I wanted to work for Georgia Spa Company
because it didn't feel like corporate. I felt communication would be better in
a company of this size and more enjoyable.
What was your first job?
I was 15 and worked as a bagger for the
grocery store Kroger. I later became a cashier at Ingles.
What's your favorite hot tub and why?
I would say the Grandee. It's got a
Moto-Massage and it is large enough for my whole family.
Where do you like to vacation/travel and why?
I enjoy traveling to the beach mainly because
I don't like the cold. I like to wake up nice and early and take advantage of
the day whenever I get to go.
If you had to eat one meal, every day for the
rest of your life, what would it be?
I don't have a meal I would want for the rest
of my life, but I wouldn't mind having to eat pasta and garlic everyday.
How do you prefer to spend your time off?
Cleaning. I just enjoy it. I am not someone
who can sit still for very long, so I like to do things around the house.
What are three things you have left on your
bucket list?
I only have two: zip lining Fremont Street (Las Vegas, Nev.) and
a cruise!
What is a TV show you like to re-watch a lot?
I don't watch TV. I am too busy cleaning.
What is your hidden talent?
Multi-tasking, according to my co-workers.
What is your favorite sport and sports team?
I am not really someone who watches sports, but
I like the Bulldogs and watching my daughters dance.
What is the best advice you've ever gotten?
Do what makes you happy, not what makes
someone else happy.
What
chore do you absolutely hate doing?
Shopping. Any type of shopping, I just can't
do it.
If
you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do?
I would buy a big plot of land and build one
house for me and one for each of my children.

is the one thing you cannot resist
Oh, that's easy, food!
