Brian Cowart has been with Georgia Spa Company for over three years, and he is based out of the Augusta location as our warehouse and deliveries manager. Brian finds that the most rewarding part of his job is seeing the joy and satisfaction of our many customers.
Brian Joined the Georgia Spa team in 2018 and has worked in delivery, valet, orientation and as a store clerk. He truly believes in the products he sells and wants nothing but the best for each and every customer that walks through Georgia Spa store doors. Brian's hard work and dedication has garnered him multiple honors at Georgia Spa including being named the Outstanding Service & Dedication Team Member award winner in 2019 and 2020. He has twice been named Employee of the Month as well.
An employee who loves to get know both his team member and customers, Brian is always look for ways to help his team and improve. We are very grateful to him as part of the Georgia Spa Company family.
What was your first job?
I worked as a forklift operator for Cryder.
What brought you to Georgia Spa Company?
A friend of mine, Robert, who worked as an Operations Manager, gave me a call about the job and the timing was right.
What is the best piece of advice you've ever been given?
It may sound simple, but the best advice I've ever received was "don't give up."
If you could have dinner with any three people, alive or dead, who would they be?
My grandmother, McKnight Sr. ( my mentor in ministry), and my wife, always gotta have her.
What are some hobbies you have?
I like working on old cars. I started working on them when I was 9 with my dad. I also enjoy playing music, preaching, and teaching! I also love spending time with my family and playing with my grandchildren.
What is your favorite holiday and why?
I love Christmas very much because it's a time where family comes together, and I get to spend time with them.
What is the craziest thing you've ever done?
I once went 175 MPH on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle and 185 MPH in a Corvette. That is probably the craziest things I have done.
What are your top three Favorite Movies to watch?
Tombstone is my absolute favorite movie. If I could visit a movie set, that would be the one. My second favorite movie would be Fried Green Tomatoes, and my third favorite would be Joe Dirt.
What is your favorite place you've ever visited?
Jamaica. I went there on a ministry trip to share the gospel.
Are you a dog person or a cat person?
I am a dog person for sure, but I generally love all animals. I have a pitbull named Tank and a Calico cat named Ruby that just showed up one day.
Describe your dream vacation.
Anywhere with my wife. We have been together since I was 19, so anywhere I am with her is the perfect place.
How do you recharge?
Playing with my amazing grandkids, I have two. One of my grandkids is three and the other is one. Both are boys, but at the time of this, we have a baby girl on the way!
What is your favorite sport to watch and which team do you root for?
College football is my favorite sport, and I always root for the Georgia Bulldogs!
What is your favorite hot tub and why?
My favorite hot tub would have to be the Envoy hot tub from Hot Spring Highlife collection. I like it because of the lounge and the captain's chair!
