Trent winning Georgia Spa First Class Service Award

Employee Spotlight: Trent Mull

At Georgia Spa Company, our technicians do more than service spas and saunas — they help create experiences that bring comfort, relaxation, and peace of mind to our customers every day. This month, we're highlighting Trent Mull, who started with the company as a Valet Technician before moving into a Service Technician role at our Auburn location. Since joining the team in February 2025, Trent has quickly become known for his attention to detail, willingness to help others, and the care he puts into every customer interaction. In 2025, Trent was also recognized with the company's First Class Service Award, a reflection of the outstanding service and dedication he brings to both customers and teammates.

From Valet to Service Tech

Trent began his Georgia Spa Company journey on the valet side of operations before transitioning into service. Day-to-day, his role focuses on identifying and repairing issues with spas and saunas to help customers keep their wellness spaces running smoothly.

When asked what he enjoys most about the job, Trent said, "Every day is different." That variety is one of the things that keeps the work exciting and rewarding for him.

Making an Impact on Customers

One customer interaction in particular has stayed with Trent throughout his time here. Early on, he regularly performed valet service for a customer whose husband is currently battling stage 4 cancer. Even after Trent transitioned into the service department, she continued requesting him specifically as her technician.

"Being the one to do her valet is the least I can do," he shared.

It's moments like these that remind us how much our team members impact customers beyond simply servicing a spa.

Advice for First-Time Spa Owners

According to Trent, one of the biggest misconceptions customers have is about water care.

"Water chemistry is very important and not nearly as difficult to maintain as most people think," he explained.

His favorite product? A SpaGuard vacuum.

"I use it way more than most people would think," he said. "Even a few small pieces of debris left in a tub can ruin an experience with a customer."

What Makes the Team Different

For Trent, the people are what truly make Georgia Spa Company stand out.

"It is more of a family than it is coworkers," he said. "Everyone gets along and helps each other, and that makes the day-to-day operations a lot easier on everyone."

One lesson he's learned during his time here is the importance of slowing down and asking for help when needed.

"It's very easy to overlook something simple," Trent shared. "Nobody is going to think less of a person for asking for a second opinion."

Speed round:

  • Coffee or energy drink? Energy drink
  • Favorite way to relax after work? Anything that's quiet
  • Something coworkers may not know about you? He lived in Alaska for a few months
  • Favorite soak setup? "After dinner once it's dark outside, spa lights on with music playing."

Outside of Work

Trent has lived in Bethlehem most of his life, aside from spending some time "way up north" in Alaska. Outside of work, he enjoys fishing, traveling the country, and hunting. He also played baseball throughout his childhood and into high school and graduated from Apalachee High School in 2020.

We're grateful to have Trent as part of the Georgia Spa Company family and appreciate the care, professionalism, and compassion he brings to customers and teammates alike every day. Congratulations again to Trent on earning the 2025 First Class Service Award, a well-deserved recognition for someone who consistently goes above and beyond.
