Keisha Shiver, Georgia Spa Company's Vendor Relations Specialist, was named the 2023 Mark Stevens Employee of the Year at the company's annual celebration dinner held in early February at the Georgia Club.
At this year's celebration dinner, the Employee of the Year award was renamed to bestow Georgia Spa founder Mark Stevens' name. Stevens established Georgia Spa in 2004 with its first location in Buford, Ga. In May 2023, he announced the company was sold into an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), giving its employees ownership after 20 years at the helm. Along with the ESOP development, Stevens moved into a well-deserved retirement but continues to serve Georgia Spa as its Board of Directors Chairman.
