Cover lifters make it quick and easy to lift your hot tub cover off and on.
The right cover lifter can also extend the life of your cover by reducing wear and tear, make your hot tub experience more enjoyable and even make your hot tub look better than ever.
Without a doubt the most valuable aspect about having a cover lifter installed on your hot tub is how much easier it becomes to use your spa. The easier that it becomes to use your hot tub the more likely you will use it day in and day out.
Choosing the right cover lifter can make all of the difference depending on your specific needs. The main factors to consider when selecting a cover lifter include the model of your hot tub and the placement and space available for your spa. If added privacy when using your tub is also a concern, certain lifters can help address this as well.
All hot tubs at Georgia Spa Company can have a cover lifter added. There are four cover lifter options available for Hot Spring Spas and two for Freeflow Spas.
Cover Cradle I
The CoverCradle system makes slipping into your spa a breeze. The CoverCradle I lifter features dual 40 lb. pneumatic gas springs and ultra-smooth gliding action. When lifted, the cover will rest slightly elevated behind the tub. The CoverCradle II is ideal for the added weight of a larger sized cover.
Clearance Requirements:
Behind the Tub: 24”
Sides of the Tub: 3”
Fits: All model Hot Spring Spas; Suggested for larger tubs such as the Grandee and Prism.
Cover Cradle II
The CoverCradle II is a lighter duty version of the original, and is the most popular lifter. It uses a single 40 lb. pneumatic spring and makes cover removal a snap. When lifted, the CoverCradle II will also rest slight elevated behind the tub.

Uprite
The UpRite lifter is ideal when clearance space is limited or added privacy is desired. When lifted, a cover in the UpRite lifter does not drop behind the tub. Rather, it folds the cover perpendicular with the back side of the spa bar top creating a convenient sight barrier. Given the small amount of clearance necessary, the UpRite lifter can often be used when recessing a hot tub in a deck.

Sides of the Tub: 3”
