Employee Spotlight: Tyler Rigstad

Tyler Rigstad grew up in Northeast Alabama before moving to Georgia around the age of 11. He attend Apalachee High School before continuing his education in cyber security at the University of North Georgia. While in school. Tyler began his time with Georgia Spa as a delivery crew member and quickly made his way to valet technician. When Tyler isn't working hard at school or GSC, he spends time with his two boxers, Pearl (5 years old) and Bella (8 years old), as well as his Belgian Shepherd, Dixie (2 years old).

Why did you decide to work for Georgia Spa Company?
I liked the idea of learning about something not everyone thinks about day to day.

Why do you like working for Georgia Spa Company?
I enjoy the work environment, and the relationship you're able to have with management.

What is your favorite movie?
Interstellar. Best movie ever!

Where do you like to vacation?
I love going to the mountains or anywhere out in the country. It's relaxing and I enjoy the peacefulness of it all.

What is your favorite quote?
"Passion always looks like aggression to the unmotivated," ~ Nick Saban.

What is the best advice you've ever gotten?
The day you stop caring about what others think is the day you start thinking for yourself.

What is something you would tell your 13 year old self?
Never drift away from your faith.

What was your first job?
I was a cook at Zaxby's when I was 16 years old.

What's your favorite Hot Tub and why?
Probably the Envoy. I love the whole Highlife Collection, they look nice and have great functionality.

If you had to eat one meal, every day for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Pizza. No doubt in my mind.

What are three things you have left on your bucket list?
Visit Hawaii, go out of the country, and base jump.

What is a TV show you like to re-watch a lot?
Breaking Bad.

What is your hidden talent?
I learn how to play songs on guitar by ear.

What is your favorite sport?
Football or baseball. Hard choice

What is your favorite memory with Georgia Spa Company?
Probably the last company appreciation day. I enjoyed hanging out with friends and having a good time.
