Georgia Spa Gives Back

Georgia Spa Gives Back

The Georgia Spa Gives Back program is a charitable giving initiative launched in June 2018 focused on giving back to different organizations around the state of Georgia. Through the program, Georgia Spa selects a charity or cause to sponsor and will donate a portion of our proceeds from a given month or quarter to that organization.

"We have been very blessed in our business, and the Gives Back program allows us to help others throughout the year," said Mark Stevens, owner of Georgia Spa Company.

The Georgia Spa Gives Backs program is proud to support these charitable organizations:

Hot Tub for a Hero - Fourth Quarter of 2021

Captain Jonathan Davis of the United States Army its Hot Tub for a Hero recipient of a Hot Spring Spas Flair in 2021. It is the second time the program recognized a military veteran with a hot tub. In 2019, Georgia Spa awarded its first Hot Tub for a Hero to Command Sergeant Major Joshua Coble.

Ministry Village Gala - Third Quarter of 2021

The Georgia Spa Company Gives Back Program sponsored The Ministry Village Gala on Saturday, October 23. A portion of Georgia Spa's proceeds from the month of September contributed to sponsoring the event.

The mission of The Ministry Village is to expose those in Barrow county and surrounding areas to the hope and love of Jesus Christ by meeting their "felt" needs including, but not limited to, food, counseling, and foster family resources. Counseling services include but not limited to individual counseling, couples counseling, family counseling, and group counseling.

Newnan Tornado Relief - Second Quarter of 2021

Georgia Spa Company opened its sixth showroom in Newnan, Georgia, on April 1, and while excited to expand to the south side of Atlanta, we were saddened by the devastation of inclement weather in late March that produced damaging tornadoes to the Newnan community. To help support those affected, the Georgia Spa Gives Back program donated a portion of all purchases in the month of April - from all Georgia Spa Company locations - to aid in Newnan Tornado Relief.

Peace Place, Inc. - First Quarter of 2021

In March of 2021, Georgia Spa Company held its annual company-wide meeting and awards presentations, and during the gathering all employees participated in constructing blankets to donate to Peace Place, Inc. In addition to the newly crafted blankets, the donation also included puzzles, which were used as a team-building activity during the meeting, and a monetary donation from a portion of Georgia Spa's proceeds during the first quarter of 2021.

New Path 1010, exists to equip and empower multiple generations of people in the Barrow County community through programs and services designed to bring about holistic change. Amid COVID-19 pandemic, New Path has shifted its focus of its student food bag program to help feed families in need.

Beginning in April and continuing into the summer, New Path hosted a 10,000 lb. food distribution for Barrow County residents. The distribution was open to the public and followed income guidelines as required by the USDA and Northeast Georgia Food Bank (although proof of income is not required). Because foods received from the food bank vary, New Path supplemented the food distribution with their own supply.
