The Georgia Spa Gives Back Program is excited to announce it will support three organizations with a portion of Georgia Spa's proceeds from the month of June: the Georgia Transplant Foundation, the Georgia Pet Food Pantry and Nuci's Space.
Georgia Transplant Foundation
The Georgia Transplant Foundation's mission is to bridge the gap between hope and opportunity by educating and enriching the lives of those affected by organ transplant. Founded in August 1992 by Tommy Smith, a kidney transplant recipient, GTF is focused on providing financial, educational, and emotional assistance during a time that is often overwhelming for those undergoing or waiting for a transplant.
Georgia Pet Food Pantry
The Georgia Pet Food Pantry partners with local non-profits in Barrow County to provide free dog and cat supplies (food, treats, collars, leashes, toys, etc.) to low-income families in our community or pet owners just needing a little help. The Georgia Pet Food Pantry is able to assist families in caring for their beloved animals, and they are also able to offer resources for low cost spay/neuter and vaccines services.
Nuci's Space
Nuci's Space has a mission to prevent suicide. With a focus on musicians, Nuçi's Space advocates for and helps to alleviate the suffering for those living with a brain illness and fights to end the stigma of mental illness. To accomplish our mission, Nuçi's Space maintains a health and resource center for musicians as a safe space to seek support and guidance, provides access to affordable, obstacle-free professional care, actively participates in treatment and educates about awareness, prevention and the risk factors of brain illnesses.
